Galleria Ronga is located at the corner of Rongankatu and Ojakatu in the city center of Tampere. The gallery is below street level, in the basement.

By bus or tram

Bus stops Tammerpuisto, Kyttälä, Vapriikki, and Rautatieasema C and D are within walking distance. The nearest tram stops are Koskipuisto A and B.

By train

From the train station to Galleria Ronga is approximately 600 m. The most direct route is by following Rautatienkatu and Rongankatu.

Parking

Street parking in the area is limited, so we recommend using P-Hämppi or arriving by public transport.

Entrance and Accessibility

Galleria Ronga is not currently fully accessible.

The gallery entrance is located below street level.

  • The entrance has six steps leading downwards.

  • After the third step, the staircase turns left.

  • The handrail of the staircase does not extend all the way, and its use may be challenging.

The entrance door is heavy but opens by pushing. There is a small threshold at the door. If the second door is closed, it also opens by pushing.

After the doors, there is another staircase with five steps leading down to the gallery space. The height of the steps is approximately 20 cm. Support can be taken from the adjacent walls of the staircase if needed.
